Fused Glass artist Jan Stanfield, was born and raised north of Los Angeles, California. Remaining in the area, she and her husband raised 3 sons. When their last one went off to college, and as life events required some change, they relocated to Nevada. It was there that she discovered a strong interest in the art of glass fusion.

While in Nevada, Jan studied glass design and techniques and found her passion designing functional fused art with a particular interest in dichroic glass. After years of looking for her ‘creative outlet’, she found great fulfillment in crafting original artworks in glass.

Relocating to the lovely town of Windsor, in Northern California during January of 2004, Jan continues to expand into other dimensions of glass art and design. Striving to create exceptional, one of kind pieces, it is her hope that their owner will enjoy her work for years.

Jan’s work is seen in several galleries and in a variety of art shows throughout the year.
